Kids: Artwork
Want to capture the memories of your child's artwork without the bulk? Try creating a photo book.
1. Photos - Take photos of your child's best creations. Scan printed photos into your computer or ask a local camera shop for help. Upload the digital images onto your computer. 2. Go On-Line - There are many options for creating photo books: try Shutterfly, Vistaprint or MyPublisher. If you have a Mac, iPhoto has a book option built-in. After uploading your images, these websites make creating a book simple with a drag and drop system. The websites are constantly running promotions so look for coupon codes! 3. Create - Depending on how prolific your child is, you can create a photo book each year or for a period of years. Once your child's artwork has been preserved in a beautiful photo book, the original can be discarded. This reduces clutter and your family will love looking through their special Art Books!

1. Confirm tomorrow's appointments 2. Send out e-mail reminders 3. Look over to-do list and schedule time to complete tasks 4. Review in-box papers 5. Put items by door that need to go with you 6. Plan dinner 7. Update your grocery list 8. Print the next day's calendar (if electronic)

Home & Office: Out of Sight, Out of Mind
Why do some people insist on keeping everything in piles? Perhaps they have "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" syndrome.
Are you afraid you will forget something if you're not looking at it?
Do you worry that if you put a paper away you'll never be able to find it again?
Do you believe that if you leave it on your desk you'll actually get it done?
If you answered "yes" to these questions, you probably have piles of papers on your desk.
Here's what actually ends up happening when you pile:
1. You have piles of unknown papers.
2. Files are not where they belong.
3. Started projects are misplaced.
4. Lots of time is wasted searching.
If you are a 'visual' person and need to see things, why not try a desktop filing system? Your piles will be gone and your papers will be neatly organized without being "Out of Sight."
