Greetings!

Welcome to my monthly ezine!! This is a huge step for my company. As I sit down to write this, our first ezine, it's interesting to reflect on where we've been. Miss Karen's Productions started out as just me writing infomercials for BNI members. I was still working a "day job" at the local title company and wondering if I would ever be able to "escape."

I left the day job a long time ago now. As I write this, I am delighted to say that not only do I have a "real live person" to answer the phones, but I have the perfect assistant to help me with the logistics of sending out emails, registration and paperwork (all of the things that drive Miss Karen crazy!) How cool is that??

My intention with this ezine is to keep you informed of upcoming events, keep you entertained with amusing stories and anecdotes and to keep you educated with networking tips and information that you can use in your daily lives. If you have anything you would like to see added, please drop us a line. I am always open to suggestions!

Networking Success Circle Launches in June

There's nothing more important than ongoing support, especially when you're doing something that may not be on your "top ten list" of fun and easy things to do. Maybe going to those chamber mixers and networking meetings is fun for you and maybe it isn't, BUT since you're reading this, most likely you realize that there is always more to learn.

The Networking Success Circle will support you in your networking training. Each month you'll be able to listen to two calls. The first one will involve group coaching with Miss Karen, where you'll get to ask specific questions about your own networking efforts, what to say in your infomercials or anything else pertaining to your word-of-mouth marketing campaign.

The second call each month will include major players in the networking game who will give you tips and techniques as only they can teach them. You'll get insider information on everything from networking etiquette and how personality styles affect your ability to get and retain clients to how to have that conversation with potential clients that makes them talk themselves into doing business with you.

Don't worry if you can't make a call! These calls will all be recorded. Anyone who subscribes to the networking circle will have access to each call live or the recorded version. Calls will be on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Subscriptions are only $97 per month! Considering that you'd pay at least $200 an hour for Miss Karen's or any of our guests' time and you get two calls a month-THAT is a deal!

of the Month

Did you know that
in some cultures
writing on the back of someone's business card is considered bad manners? Some cultures believe that one's business card is an extension of one's self and writing on the back of the card indicates a lack of respect for that person.

So the next time you're tempted to write information on the back
of someone's card,
get permission first!
