Refurbished Showcentre for Mitchell Glass
Since Bill Fisher opened the Mitchell Glass premises in 1978, the location has been adapted to deal with the major changes within the glazing market, from manufacturing of glazing units, increasing numbers of staff, to the installation of the show conservatories.
The showcentre is an integral part of the customer experience as it gives you time to reflect about the up and coming project and gain a sense of who we are as a company. So in spring 2009 the showcentre was given a refurbishment and now provides a portfolio of completed installations, giving you an idea of our craftsmanship and numerous samples, and enabling you to choose from our extensive range of products. It really does become the first port of call for gathering the information needed for home improvement projects of any size.

Ian and the Borders Barmy Army
 We'd all like to say a big "Well Done" to our Sales Manager, Ian Hyslop, who recently completed a 20-mile walk as part of the Borders Barmy Army fundraising efforts. The Borders Barmy Army (BBA) are a group of men, women and children who come together to take part in 'barmy' activities to raise money for charity. The walk took place on the 26th April and was in aid of Cancer Research UK. The group of 15 walked in their kilts from Dryhope near St Mary's Loch to Selkirk via the Three Brethern.
We are always proud of Ian but even more so for the fact that he was first to cross the finish line - even thought he and his partner walked a few additional miles as they got lost!

The Mitchell Glass Special Spring Event
We all like to mark the arrival of spring, especially after a winter like the one we have just had, and here at Mitchell Glass we feel the same way. This year we decided to really mark the season with a Special Spring Event as we had a lot to tell everyone about!!
At the event we unveiled our newly refurbished showcentre, which showcases several of our installations and sample products. Visitors were shown our newly renovated offices, which now house our ever expanding team. We also had the pleasure of launching several new products and services which now offer our customers an extensive range of options for all of their home improvement needs.
The two-day event was a great success and enjoyed by all. Ian Hyslop, Sales Manager, said "It was great to have the opportunity to spend time with our customers, to show them first hand how the company is developing. It's important for them to know that they are dealing with a forward thinking company."
We are all looking forward to the next Mitchell Glass event.....
