At Mitchells we are very proud of our staff and aim to ensure that they are happy in their jobs. When we reach a milestone date, like 30 years of service by a member of staff, we like to make a song and dance about it and here we have such an occasion...
Congratulations to Steve Scott for 30 years at Mitchells!! Steve has worked his way up in the business over the years, and is now our Operations Manager, in charge of all our installations.
Here is what Steve had to say... "It's hard to imagine that I've been here for 30 years. It doesn't seem like it. My memory of my first day is vague but I do remember my first job was a really important one...going to Hunter Kennedy's the bakers to get pies for the men!
"There have been a lot of changes since I started and the part I like best is to leave a satisfied customer especially after a tricky job. As for the next 30 years... I would like to see Mitchells grow and specialise more in bespoke products which are really designed to each individual customer." |
