Battle of Biblical Proportions - a Case Study
Many of us come up against the regulations upheld by local planning departments. They can make home improvement a daunting task. Even more so if your house is in a conservation area!
The Church of Scotland received some bad news recently when they wanted to replace windows of this old manse. They were refused consent due to the "like for like" rule.

Working with Mitchell Glass, who offer expertise and support in dealing with planning issues, the Church were able to prove that the manse originally had Georgian style windows.
Along with Mitchell Glass, a new application was submitted, with photographic evidence, which clearly showed the Georgian style windows. The Church won the day and now the manse looks stunning, with timber sash and cash windows which were expertly supplied and fitted by.... Mitchell Glass.
