The Holi Festival, held on March 28, was a great success. An estimated 15,000 enjoyed the event, and most will be back next year with several friends. Krishna Temple leaders met with Joe Thomas, mayor of Spanish Fork. They discussed using the Spanish Fork Fair Grounds for parking next year, and running shuttle buses from there to the Krishna Temple.

The weekend of 2009's first Om Shanti Retreat will feature two great kirtans, both of which will be open to the public on a donation basis. Friday night, Keshavacharya, who has two CDs to his credit, will perfom in Spanish Fork as part of his North American tour, and Saturday night local devotee Jai Krishna, will lead.
