Exciting Project Currently Underway
The roof struts have been erected for the new pavilion, and now there will be bolting of the roof and attaching the insulation.

The company which makes the pavilion told us to buy the wrong screws
for the roof. We ordered $ 1,000 dollars worth of bolts from Fastenal,
two inches in length, and specially painted. Turns out these are too
short and will have to be returned to a restocking penalty of 30 per
cent, about 350 dollars. It will be a delay of two weeks until they can
make us new, longer ones. We had paid the pavilion company up front, so
we can only hope they do the right thing by reimbursing us for this
(and other) mistakes on their part.
Their problem is they have never made a building this big. Their
previous largest order was 40 feet in diameter, and this is 90 feet. It
will be magnificent when completed.
Means to donate for the above. 1) Send a check to Krishna Temple, 8628
S. State Road, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. 2) Call Caru at (801)
798-3559/787-1510 with Credit or Debit Card Number 3) Go to paypal.com
and credit a donation to carudas@earthlink.net.

This white peacock, delivered by Jose Montero, arrived Memorial day weekend. He will join the dozen or so multi colored peacocks which roam the temple property. By the way, peacocks do just fine in Utah winters. They have a constitution similar to pheasants.

Humor
 What's your religion?
I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. I immediately ran over and said "Stop! Don't do it!"
"Why shouldn't I?" he said.
I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!" "Like what?"
"Well ... are you religious or atheist?" "Religious."
"Me too! Are you Christian or Jewish?" "Christian."
"Me too! Are you Catholic or Protestant?" "Protestant."
"Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?" "Baptist."
"Wow! Me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?" "Baptist Church of God."
"Me too! Are you Original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?" "Reformed Baptist Church of God."
"Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?" "Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915!"
To which I said, "Die, heretic scum!" and pushed him off.
