7th Annual Himlayan Fest
Saturday June 7, 6:00 pm

Enjoy a memorable summer evening of performing
arts: kirtan, dance, cuisine, and drama - all presented
on a outdoor stage in front of a lake and waterfall,
with the Wasatch Moutains as backdrop.

This year will feature four different types of classical
and folk dance: Mohiniyatom, Bharat Natyam, Kathak,
and Nepali Folk. Sashi Kalaskar & Ted Weiss will perform
on sitar and tablas. Jai Krishna and the Temple Bhajan
Band will do kirtans. The Vaikuntha players will re-enact
scenes from the great Indian epics Mahabharat and
Ramayana. Read More

 Exciting Project Currently Underway

"Buildings Materials Arrive in Utah"

Pavilion Site

Above is a picture of the levelled suite where the
new Performing Arts/Marriage/Exhibit/Conference
Auditorium will be placed. It is just to the Southeast
and behind the current temple building. Footings
have already been poured and passed inspection
by Utah County.

Last Monday two semi trailers arrived from Texas
with all the building materials, which Dan our erector
unloaded by fork lift.

Once assembled the building will be 90 feet in
diameter and hold 500 people. That amounts to
a sizeable lot of materials, seen here laid out on
the ground.

Unloaded Materials

When not being used for festival events, the Cultural
Hall will be a permanent exhibit center. Portable
panels and displays will explain Vedic culture,
history, art, philosophy, literature, and religion,
which tourists will be able to peruse at their leisure.

We'd like to thank the donors who've risen to the
fundraising call: Avadesh & Uma Aggarwal, $5,000,

When talking about Heaven..

When talking about heaven to an audience,
let your face light up to reflect God's glory
in His firmament. When talking about hell,
your every day expressions will do just fine.
