TESL Ontario

Dear TESL Ontario Member,

We are pleased to let you know that the upgraded TESL Ontario Online Professional Development system is up and running. Now, you can enjoy watching about 100 hours of TESL Ontario Conference sessions and receive a PD certificate for every session you complete.

To start doing online PD, please visit TESL Ontario website at www.teslontario.org, click on Conference, and then click on Webcast/Presenter Handouts. Also, the direct link to online PD is http://www.teslontario.org/conference/webcast/

You will be required to enter your TESL Ontario membership number and your password is 27carlton (no space and all lower case letters).

If you cannot register or log in, or if you encounter any other technical issues, please email Kevin O'Brien, the TESL Ontario Webmaster, at webmaster@teslontario.org.

Please be aware that every hour of online PD is recognized as 1/2 PD hour. TESL Ontario accredited language instructors are required to complete 5 PD hours per year to be eligible for accreditation renewal.

Also, please be reminded that 10% of renewals due in every given month are selected randomly by "Microsoft Excel Random Function", which is the software we employ for random auditing, and receive PD submission notices about a month before the renewal due date . The selected members will be required to submit their proof of PD by their accreditation expiry date to be eligible for accreditation renewal. A one-month grace period will be granted if the required PD is not submitted by that date. At the end of the grace period, accreditation will lapse if PD is still outstanding.

If you have any questions about TESL Ontario PD requirement, please email me at accreditation@teslontario.org.

Regards,

Reza Mazloom-Farzaghy

Accreditation Administrator
