Updates on Webcasting and TESL Trainer Registry

Dear TESL Ontario Member,

I am pleased to inform you that the Streaming Network, our webcasting service provider, has agreed to send webcasting reports directly to the service users via email from now on. In addition, if you have completed any webcasting hours prior to Jan. 31, 2011 and would like to receive a report, please email your request to the Streaming Network at support@thestreamingnetwork.com .

In addition, I am glad to let you know that the "Registry of TESL Ontario Accredited TESL Trainers" is up and running on our website now. To access this Registry, please click on http://www.teslontario.org/accredited-members-registries/ or visit TESL Ontario's website (www.teslontario.org), click on "Accredited Members Registry", and then click on "Registry of Accredited TESL Trainers".

For more information on how to apply for TESL Trainer Certificate of Accreditation, accreditation renewal, and accreditation reinstatement, please refer to  "TESL Trainer Accreditation Application Guide" available at http://www.teslontario.org/accreditation/

Stay Connected with TESL Ontario through Social Media

TESL Ontario is pleased to announce  that we have greatly enhanced our online presence.  Our members can now stay connected with their professional association through Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

We believe it's important to stay closely connected to our members and what better way to do that than with social media.  Through these social media platforms you will receive timely information from TESL Ontario and can successfully use the social media platforms to make new networking connections and to learn from your peers.

In addition to our current method of emailed member communications, members who follow TESL Ontario will receive updates, announcements and information regarding:

The information provided using these social media tools is not meant to replace our current method of communicating with our members via email but rather to enhance our communication efforts with our members to help ensure that important TESL Ontario information and announcements reach as many members as possible, as well as to provide a tool for our member to help them expand their knowledge of the language training profession and make connections with fellow peers.
