Alice Medrich Alice Medrich is an author, pastry chef, teacher and three-time winner of the James Beard Cookbook of the Year Award. She has written nine cookbooks, including Bittersweet, Chewy Gooey Crispy Crunchy Melt-in-Your-Mouth Cookies and the forthcoming Sinfully Easy Delicious Desserts.

Sam Choy Sam Choy is a James Beard award-winning chef who has written 13 books, including Aloha Cuisine and Poke. He is the only Hawaiian chef among the original exponents of Hawaiian Regional Cuisine. Sam stars in his own television show and is often a guest on the Food Network.
