Female butterflies usually lay eggs when their feet touch their host plant; under certain conditions. Light, warmth ...

Place the female in a container with a warm light close to one side. Place the host plant between the butterfly and the light. Make sure the butterfly can't get to the lighted side without touching the plant constantly. She'll lay eggs!

At the end of this class, you will release your own butterfly and receive your 'Butterfly Release Certified' certificate from the AFB.
