How to tell ...
|
|
At the festival 'J'ing butterfly caterpillars will be placed
where you can watch them pupate into a chrysalis.
Chrysalises will be placed where you can what adult
butterflies emerge. Bring your camera!
There are signs to show when they are close to
pupating and close to emerging. Since they hang for
about 24 hours and they start to color up hours before
they emerge, it helps to know when to watch closely.

Skippers, and Duskywings.
We encourage you to visit the Butterfly Rainforest in
Gainesville to experience exotic species of butterflies.

a plant and caterpillar (White Peacocks are in the photo
above) in an enclosed temporary habitat to take
home. Watch the caterpillar turn into a chrysalis

plant into your garden to attract and grow more
butterflies. You will have a choice of several
butterfly species. $15

vivarium, we can ship several species to you. If you are
in Florida, we are able to ship at this time; White
