This dry white wine is pale straw-yellow in color. A bright greenish yellow color with golden tinges. Fruity aromas and complexity highlight nuances of ripe apple. On the palate, a distinct sweet character gives an intense, pleasurable sensation with a balanced and rounded structural finish.

Santa Rita Sauvignon Blanc |  | |

Quebec's "Montreal Gazette" published the results of a blind tasting of Sauvignon Blanc in Bill Zachariw's August 14 article "Sauvignon has its Place." 120 Sauvignon Blanc 2009, "Hands down winner" in the under $14 category. So good, that many said that it would have won in the next category as well.
Pale straw color. Reminiscent of citrus blossoms and peaches, rounded out by appealing herbaceous notes. Nuances of citrus fruit and white peach, supported by a zesty acidity and smooth texture that lingers on the palate. Excellent as an aperitif or with seafood, cold appetizers and hors d'oeuvres.

Chappele St. Arnoux Cote du Ventoux |  | |

The grapes come largely from the slopes of Mont Ventoux; the giant of Provence which overlooks the Rhone valley. The red Chapelle St. Arnoux Cotes du Ventoux is made from Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault grapes. Their blend gives birth to a wine full of subtle aromas of red fruits and hints of scrubland and spices. In the mouth it is harmonious, supple and generous with a spicy final taste.

Red and intense red ruby color. Gorgeous and lovely bright cherry, blackcurrant and dark plum aromas with toasted oak. Medium bodied with silky tannins and long, ripe fruit and berry aftertaste, with impressive balance of fruit and polished tannins. Food Pairing: Red meats, spicy dishes and ripe cheeses such as Gruyere or blue cheese.

The nose shows bright fruit aromas of fragrant raspberries and plums, a hint of white pepper and a dash of nutmeg and allspice." The palate is generous and fruit driven with layers of cherries, red berried and spice from the Grenache." Cooking Classes |  | |
Yes the rumors are true. We are bringing back the cooking classes at the Highway One store!
Our first class will be Presidents day weekend, The Staff of Eden Restaurant and Bin 66 will be pairing six delicious courses with six high end wines. Eating and drinking, what's not to like.
Those of you working towards your MFWC degree, this is a 3 credit course.
We are not yet taking reservations for any classes, please watch your e-mails for info,
Also in March The Bin 66 Craft Beer Club will doing a first. Craft Beer and Food pairing Cooking class at Highway One store. Once again the staff of eden Restaurant will creating six courses to cook here in the store with our top craft beer Favorites. The limited spaces for this inescapably popular class will be offered to our Craft beer Club members first before we offer it out to the rest of the Bin 66 Club members. If you are interested please join the craft Beer Club.
