Montenisa Brut NV
Montenisa Brut is the result of a careful selection of Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and a small quantity of Pinot Nero grapes, grown in the vineyards of our Tenuta di Montenisa estate in the heart of Franciacorta. The first fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel vats and partly in barriques, and the second in the bottles, with subsequent contact on the yeasts for at least 30 months. The wine is golden yellow in colour with plenty of mousse and a delicate, lasting perlage . The intense aromas include hints of white peaches and apples and yeasty, toasty notes. The typical liveliness of the Brut is enhanced on the palate by ripe fruit aromas adding depth and balance.

Guado al Tasso Vermentino
The wine has a personality which really stands out. It opens with a straw yellow color with greenish tinges, has a very intense fruity fragrance with notes which are very characteristic of this varietal. On the palate it is sapid, harmonious, and very persistent, with a delightful minerality. After destemming and a gentle pressing, the must was cooled down to a temperature of 10°C in order to cause natural decantation. The clear must was then racked into stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, where alcoholic fermentation took place at a temperature not exceeding 16°C. The wine was kept for a short time in steel tanks at 10°C, (so as to preserve the fragrance unaltered), and was then filtered and bottled. Alcohol content: 12.5% by Vol. |
Cervaro Umbria IGT
85% Chardonnay, 15% Grechetto. In 1987, Antinori introduced its first Chardonnay-based wine, the 1985 vintage Cervaro della Sala, a name that translates as Stag of the Hall, and was taken from that of the 14th century feudal owners of Castello della Sala, an Umbrian castle Antinori purchased in 1940. The wine has won numerous awards, including the coveted three goblets from Gambero Rosso (one of Italy's leading wine magazines). The wine has an intense and complex aroma, in which notes of citrus, pear, and acacia flowers are fused with hints of vanilla. On the palate the wine is full and well-structured, with sweet notes of butter and hazelnut, while at the same time persistent and minerally. It is a wine destined to evolve and age excellently. |
La Braccesca
Bramoasole Syrah
The wine has a beautiful deep red color with violet undertones, which are typical of this varietal. The fragrance is intense, with subtle hints of vanilla blended with notes of mature fruit. It is a well-balanced and elegant wine, with flavors of red fruit and white plum. The finish is soft and lingering on the palate. The La Braccesca Estate, which altogether extends over an area of 379 hectares, is composed of two separate parts: the historic nucleus of the company is located in the immediate area in and around Montepulciano, with 86 hectares of vines in the best sub-zones for the production of Nobile di Montepulciano; the other part is covered by 151 hectares of vineyards, and is located at the foot of the hills surrounding Cortona. The first vintage of Vino Nobile La Braccesca was that of 1990. |
Masseria Maime Salento
Ruby red. Aromas of maraschino cherry and raspberry, sweet spices and a vanillaed aftertaste. Soft, salty, strong flavors with sweet and elegant tannins. The grapes are harvested at their optimal level of maturity. After the pressing and the fermentation, the following maceration lasts 15 days in stainless steel tanks and with frequent remontages and delestages. During this phase the must completes its alcoholic fermentation at a temperature between 26° and 30° C. Afterwards, the must is drained directly in barriques where it completes its malolactic fermentation and where it is aged for 12 months. The wine is bottled and aged for 12 months before being released |
Pian delle Vigne
Brunello di Montalchino Ruby red to garnet color. Aromatic and complex on the nose, with hints of spices, cherries, blackberries, light tobacco and pleasant chocolate undertones. Very full-bodied and broad on the palate, with an intense sweetness, decisive but smooth, elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish. The Pian delle Vigne estate is located 6 km south of Montalcino, above the Val d'Orcia. It takes its name from a typical 19th century railway station located within the estate and still in use. The estate is comprised of 180 hectares, 65 hectares of which are mainly southeast facing vineyards, planted at an altitude of between 130 and 200 m asl. The soil is mainly clay and limestone, rich in small skeletal deposits. Pian delle Vigne's Brunello di Montalcino is produced only with Sangiovese grapes (known in Montalcino as "Brunello"), according to a meticulous production discipline. The most important regulations govern the production area - the municipality of Montalcino; the grape variety - Sangiovese; the maximum grape yield - 80 quintals per hectare; wine yield from the grape - 68%; minimum ageing in wood - at least two years in oak; minimum ageing in the bottle - at least 4 months (6 months for the "Riserva"); minimum alcohol content - 12% vol; earliest release date - the 1st of January of the fifth year following the harvest (after six years for the "Riserva"). |

Guado Al Tasso
Bolgheri Superiore
Guado al Tasso 2007 is already beginning to develop an elegant fragrance, offering an fresh aromas with mild nutty notes and hints of menthol which are balanced by flavors of full-flavored dark fruits. The wine bathes the palate in rich, smooth tannins. It has a long finish and leaves a lingering taste of ripe black berry fruit. Guado al Tasso is a harmony of flavors and is beautifully refined, which together make it fascinating right from the first drop. This wine takes its name from a curious fact: at Tenuta Guado al Tasso timid badgers are sometimes seen crossing the fords in the streams. The estate of Tenuta Guado al Tasso is about 80 Km. south-west of Florence near the medieval town of Bolgheri, in Maremma. The 900-hectare estate extends down the Tyrrhenian coast to the hills and apart from vineyards, other crops grown here include wheat, corn, sunflowers, olives. The vineyards are situated at altitudes between 45 - 60 metres a.s.l. on rocky, slightly limestone soil. The Guado al Tasso wine was made for the first time in 1990.
