Back To Normal
  Tastings!

Nights are getting cooler, windows are open, crazy tourists are gone and no more white shoes!
Greetings!

September at the beach is a local favorite time of the year.  The weather is terrific, the ocean waters are warm and the massive tourists have gone home.  We welcome you to back to normal tastings at Bin 66.  Friday and Saturday tastings will be calm with more elbow room.

Spotlight - Bonterra Winery

bonterra

On 378 acres of steep hills and rolling valleys in mountainous Mendocino County, California, grows one of the world's premier organic vineyards: Bonterra's McNab Ranch. The land was first recognized as ideal for grape growing early in the 20th century. Since 1987, Bonterra farmed this fertile expanse according to advanced organic practices. Each element of its carefully balanced ecosystem has a role in creating the ranch's signature bounty.

Bonterra was one of the first major California wineries to practice organic and sustainable farming practices.  Their practices are regulated by the government and independetly certified to ensure that no artificial fertilizers are used.

bonterra chickens
Bonterra is very animal friendly.  They allow their chickens to be free-range (no cages).
Good for the chicken good for the egg!

Bonterra also has grazing sheep to naturally eat unnecessary weeds and vegetation without using lawnmowers.
