We hope you have had a wonderful month. As usual, we have kept busy tracking the markets, working to improve our services, and trying to find some time for fun. We will be in Annapolis, MD for a wine tasting event (Great Grapes) on July 29th and 30th. If you are in the area, it would be great if you could stop by. As you know, we will be hosting an open house in September. There will be appetizers, drinks, and prizes! Be sure to look in next month's newsletter for the date and time. We look forward to seeing you then.

 The Market

Market Up July has been quite the roller coaster ride for the stock market. The Dow has seen gains and losses of 200+ points this month. While the market has been volatile, I believe that we should continue to stay the course. Businesses, the economy, and production remain strong. Global headlines and fear of inflation continue to drive negative sentiment while earnings reports provide a boost for the market. The link below gives some additional thought to the turbulent stock market.

 The Office

reception area As you can see, we have made a change to our monthly newsletter. My habit of including pictures of Fenway along with my desire for a more professional and versatile layout put me in search of a new option. After my last newsletter, a client suggested that I look into Constant Contact. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her idea. I appreciate all of her help over the past few months.

 The Family

July 4th 06 Fenway Park This month we travelled to Boston for July 4th. Wow, what an impressive fireworks display! We were front-and-center for the festivities and enjoyed the best fireworks show we've seen. We also were able to see the Boston Pops during their dress rehearsal. While our excitement was on the 4th, Fenway's was on the 2nd. That was the day he got to see his namesake- Fenway Park. Well, excited might not be the best word to describe him that day-maybe confused. Confused why we kept taking so many pictures of him and why everyone who walked by seemed to know his name!
