CenterStage Invites You to Be a Part of the Magical World of "Narnia"
Auditions for actors entering 5th grade through 9th grade for the musical, "Narnia" will be held on the following days at The Louisville Arts Center (801 Grant Street):
Friday, August 27, 4:20pm - 8:30pm Saturday, August 28, 11am - 4:00 pm
(Drop in auditions 4pm -5pm) Callbacks, if needed, will be Sunday, August 29th
To schedule an audition, email Ileane Olson. For other questions about the show, please feel free to contact Jeanie Balch. If cast, tuition fees and costume fees apply. A few financial scholarships are available.
Audition Information for Narnia:
- Please prepare 32 measures of a song from musical theater.
- Bring sheet music for the pianist (no CD's or acapella singing). Having your music in a book or binder is helpful.
- Please come early enough to fill out paperwork and be ready to audition 15 minutes before your assigned time. (We may occasionally run early.)
- You will be asked to read from one or more sections of dialogue from the shows. They will be available for you to look at/read through prior to your audition.
- 9th graders at Fairview will be able to audition for the Fairview High musical - our final cast list will be posted after they cast their show.
Performances will be November 4-7 at Louisville Middle School. Rehearsals will begin after Labor Day and will be Sun/Mon afternoons for one cast and Sun/Tues afternoons for the other cast. Both casts will be asked to come to some rehearsals on Friday afternoon/evenings. |
