Performance Dates/Location: April 22nd - 25th / Louisville Middle School
Eligibility: Students in grades 5th through 12th
Rehearsals: Tentatively scheduled for Mondays, Fridays and Sundays depending on cast.
Audition Times
Friday, January 8th, 4:20 pm - 8:20 pm (last slot starts at 8:00 pm)
Saturday, January 9th, 12:40 pm- 5:00 (last slot starts at 4:40 pm)
Sunday, January 10th, 1:20 pm- 5:00 pm (last slot starts at 4:40 pm)
Callback auditions will be held on Friday, January 15th in the afternoon. Callback auditions will be posted on the CenterStage website by 9 pm on Monday, January 11th.
Auditions will be held by appointment. We will audition small groups of up to 5 in 20 minute time slots. To schedule your time, email Ileane Olson. Put AUDITION REQUEST in your subject line and let her know your date/time preference, which we will try to accommodate. Within five days of your request, you will receive a confirmation along with the audition application. Drop in auditions will be accommodated, but you will have to wait for an available slot.
Audition Preparation
Please prepare a song or part of a song from musical theatre that is under two minutes. You must bring sheet music for our accompanist. Recorded accompaniments, CDs, or tapes are not allowed. Singing a cappella is strongly discouraged. Cold readings will take place at the audition.
