Once On This Island - Tickets
Once On This Island
All performances of Once on this Island are sold out. So to accommodate those who were not able to get tickets, we have come up with the following plan.

If you have tickets that you end up not needing, please bring them to the CenterStage Box Office table (not the Dairy box office) prior to any performance and we will try to resell them for you.

At each performance, we will start a wait list one hour prior to showtime for that performance only (first come, first served) and sell any unused tickets.  Although we may not be able to accommodate everyone on the wait list, we usually can get in some people for each performance.

Thank you for your understanding and yes, we look forward to performing in the new LMS Auditorium next Fall to accommodate more audience members!
Summer Shows - Audition Information

Audition Information for Camelot and Into the Woods

These two shows will be primarily cast with actors age 14 or going into 9th grade through age 21, however there are a limited number of roles for actors going into 8th grade.

To audition, please prepare 32 bars of a song from a musical theatre show. It can be upbeat or a ballad - whatever you feel shows your vocal skill the best. Bring sheet music for the accompanist. No cd accompaniment or acapella singing for auditions.

In addition you may perform a one-minute memorized monologue (from a play or movie script) or do a cold reading from the Camelot or Into the Woods script. Please choose the method that you think demonstrates your skills to the greatest advantage (some actors really prefer to use a prepared monologue, others are happy with reading from the script). Addtional tips for auditioning can be found here.

Dancers who would like to be considered for a featured dancing role in the Camelot chorus can prepare and perform a short choreographed piece, no longer than two minutes. This can be accompanied by bringing sheet music or a cd. Ballet or modern dance preferred.

New! Scheduled auditions!
Sign up for a 10 minute audition slot at the following dates and locations:
Sunday, May 3 - Arts Underground, 3pm-6pm
Tuesday, May 5 - Louisville Arts Center, 6pm - 8pm
Friday, May 8 - Arts Underground, 6pm - 8pm

To sign up, please send an email to Jeanie Balch indicating your preferred date and approximate time (please put AUDITION REQUEST in the subject line). You will receive a confirmation email within 5 days of your request. Please indicate if you are intending to do a dance audition in addition to singing and reading. Auditioners will be expected to be "ready to go" 15 minutes prior to their audition time. If you need to fill out forms you may need to arrive earlier. CenterStage reserves the right to move you to an alternate day and time if absolutely necessary.

Drop in auditions are also available
First come, first served.
Saturday, May 9, Louisville Arts Center, 1pm to 5pm.
Callbacks, if needed, will be May 10-12 (time TBD).
Please continue to check the CenterStage Theatre Company website for the most up to date audition and show information.

Rehearsals will commence May 30th  and will be primarily weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.

Performance dates are July 15th to 26th at the Dairy Theatre in Boulder. To find out more information about either of these two shows, click here for Into the Woods and here for Camelot.
