Hold the phone! And hold the dates! CenterStage is producing two outstanding musicals this summer in repertory (both at the same time!)
Into the Woods
by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine
and
Camelot by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe
Performance dates are July 15th to 26th at the Dairy Theatre in Boulder. To find out more info about these shows click here for Into the Woods and here for Camelot.
To achieve this feat, CenterStage needs to fill the following production positions:
Assistant Director
Stage Manager
Choreographer/Movement Coordinator
Costume Coordinator
Publicity Coordinator
Assistant Musical Director
Assistant Technical Director
Assistant Sound Director
These are in addition to all the regular volunteer assistance from our parents.
If you have been thinking about getting more involved in community theatre, now is the time to join in! Parents, teens, college students are welcome to apply. Please contact Jeanie Balch to indicate your interest and get more information.
The shows will be primarily cast with actors age 14 or going into 9th grade through age 21, however there are a limited number of roles for actors going into 8th grade. Auditions for these shows will be the first two weekends in May. Specific times and locations to be announced. Rehearsals will commence May 30th and will be primarily weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions. Session 2 (4th thru 8th grade)
7/6-7/17 9:00am-4:00pm
(bring sack lunch)
Optional Early start for this session - 8:00am to 9:00am
Session 3 (2nd thru 6th grade)
7/20-7/24 9:00am-4:00pm

| Fundraising Group Being Formed |

We are developing a small group to create fundraising events and contacts for CenterStage. Though a significant amount of our operational funds are generated from participation fees and tickets, it is not enough to fully fund the full-stage theatre experience you expect from our organization.
If you would like to help out, please contact Linda Lee. You can give as little or as much time as you would like to this group. |
