As we mentioned in a previous newsletter, CenterStage Threatre Company will be participating in the Louisville's 2007 Parade of Lights. This event is on Friday, December 7th starting at 7:00. Please join us in celebrating the season!

We are looking for a volunteer with a truck to pull our float this year. If you are interested (or would like further information) contact Priscilla Lacy at (303) 665- 2867.

Mark your calendars for the CenterStage Theatre Company's 2nd annual Holiday Party. Our first one was a rousing success with good food, sing-a-longs and lots of laughs.

This year the Holiday Party will take place on Saturday, December 22nd from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m at the Louisville Center for the Arts (801 Grant Avenue). All CenterStage families are welcome. And who knows, maybe we'll even get a visit from the neighborhood cat. So come one and all and don't forget to bring your singing voices!

Alas we are not able to produce an elementary school age production this year. However, we plan to have a show in Fall, 2008.

However, we will have several opportunities for elementary school age children to participate this summer including our summer camps (with camps in Boulder AND Louisville in 2008!) and our Singin' in the Summer choral group. Stay tuned for more details!

The acclaimed musical, Les Miserables, will be performed by CenterStage Theatre Company in April, 2008 at the Louisville Middle School auditorium (1341 Main Street). This production will be directed by Amy Austin.

Auditions for students in grades 4-12 (with limited roles for grades 4-6) will take place in mid-December. Further audition information will be forthcoming.

Prepare for upcoming auditions with an Audition Book Class offered by The Art Underground in Louisville for middle-school age students. In this workshop you will be taught personalized songs by Broadway stars Angela Gaylor and David Ayers.

This four session class is offered on Sundays from 5:30pm-7:30pm; dates are as follows: Nov 4, Nov 18, Dec 2, Dec 9. The classes will be held in downtown Louisville at The Art Underground at 920 Main Street. To register or for more info, call 303-229-1127 or email varietyarts@earthlink.net.
