FIRST, MANY THANKS....
New Board members and Committee Chairs have taken on the responsibilities of supporting our chapter. The list is indicated on the left panel of this newsletter. I would like to thank Bridget, Candy, Carol, Karen, Michelle, Pam and Tracey for their support.
Our Fall Event at Ann Taylor store was a great success. Thank you to Carrie at Ann Taylor store for hosting the event.
Our board meetings will be held every 1st Wednesday of the month. Thank you to Tracey for hosting the meetings at your office, Carr Workplaces, a great place to have meetings.

Advocate of the Year!
Awards were presented at the 5th Annual Small Business Awards Galaat the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The evening's agenda included the presentation of various small business awards for Best Practices in several categories, along with Advocate of the Year.

Future Events
Ladies' Night of Pampering at Spa: Our local chapter is preparing this exciting event at Rachele Rose Day Spa, with classes, massages, skin care discussions, makeup, refreshments, and raffles. This will be held on February 1st. The spa is located at 110 South Central Avenue in Hartsdale. Stay tuned for more details.
Don't forget all the great benefits and events offered by the National NAFE organization. There will be an event that is coordinated with the National 'Women of Excellence' ceremony December 2nd. There will be a big event that will be planned around International Women's Day in major cities worldwide that will include Nobel Prize winners as speakers. The event will be coordinated with the Women's Information Network and will be held in March in NYC.
