  • Maximizing website project success.

When you meet with your service provider, consider the recommendations in our feature article to ensure that you have a successful outcome. For example, the initial discussions and clarifications are critical to the success of the project. You can avoid misinterpretations and achieve success more quickly and less costly.

    Improving service provider relationships.

With any projects, large or small, how we communicate with our service provider will affect how successful and cost-efficient our project will be.

In my 20+ years of experience with global, multi-million dollar initiatives, as well as with low-cost projects, I have found that the careful management of the services is critical to the success of the projects.

Even if you are not at the initial stages of your project, you can still apply the recommendations identified in our feature article by having a mid-project 'evaluation review'. You can set the direction to improve your relationship with your service provider even in mid-stream.

Expanding Kids Love To Write publishing services.

Last month, we kicked off our new Kids Love To Write website. Although our service is focused on online publishing, we are now offering several avenues to publish your children's stories in paperback and hardcover formats. You can create as little as one copy to print or as many as you wish.

Also, we offer competition opportunities to schools and organizations to help motivate children to write. Winners will get their stories published for free. If you know of any organization or school group that would be interested in a competition to get published, please let us know. We feel it is important to recognize children's achievements.

Best Practices: Careful Management of Relationship with Service Provider
We are all dependent on service providers for our businesses to succeed. The better you manage that relationship, the more successful you will be in achieving your goals in a cost-effective manner. The relationship is two-way street. Service providers also depend on customers to enable a successful deliverable.

Read our blog suggestions on how to prepare with key points such as setting expectations, confirming deliverables, strategic vs. tactical goals, how to ensure you can use your final product, how to avoid misinterpretations of project deliverables, and more. We welcome your feedback.

    Best Wishes for the
    New Year!
