WNET.ORG brought Father's Day Fun to CMEE... |
Dad's (and Dad-like family and friends) were the focus at CMEE recently for a special partnership with WNET's award-winning PBS.KIDS national TV Show Cyberchase. Children met, hugged, and danced with lead character "Digit" and viewed a special Father's Day episode of Cyberchase. During the day, kids participated in fun math activities (in keeping with the show's theme).

Adding to the Father's Day festivities, CMEE's new MoonSoup Gift Boutique & Early Enrichment Studio, held a Mommy & Me (or in this case "Daddy & Me"!) circle time of sing-along songs, movement, and dance - complete with sparkly pom-poms and egg shakers, plus a story time.

Ladies' Night Out at The Lodge for CMEE! |
|
Clearly the timing was right....a rare cloudless sky and comfortable temperatures combined with the end of the school year - inspired a fabulous turn out for our most recent "Ladies Night Out" on June 17. Thanks to Michael Gluckman and The Lodge in East Hampton for hosting this event, and special thanks to CMEE Trustee, Jackie Lowey and the entire committee for spreading the word to come out and enjoy good company and good food (and "The Perfect Margarita!") - all to benefit the Children's Museum of the East End. Thanks too, to Anna Throne-Holst who attended the event and spoke about the importance of the Museum to the East End community. CMEE's many "Ladies Nights Out" have helped raise tens of thousands of dollars to support the Museum's programming. Keep an eye out for the next one!
