Friends of East Atlanta Library Book Drop |
You know you've been waiting for it--the chance to get rid of all the old books that have accumulated since last year!
Bring your used paperbacks, hardbacks, and children's books to the East Atlanta Library on Saturday, August 18th between 4-6 pm. Drop them off, enjoy an adult beverage and sweets and sign up to sort books on another date. Sure, there will be other times to drop off your books, but there won't be any beverages available. You may drop books off any time the library is open AFTER the kickoff party.
Any questions? Send an email to lynnebryant@mindspring.com

Litespeed Twilight Criterium |
On August 18, East Atlanta will play host to the Litespeed BMW Twilight Criterium. How Will You Strut? |

The lazy days of summer are the perfect time to start thinking about how you and your group will participate in the East Atlanta Strut Parade on Saturday, September 15.
Paraders march, ride, sing, dance, dress up, dress down, bike and skate through the festival's cheering throng to compete for the coveted Strut trophies. This year, there's a new category: Best Celebration. It will go to the group with the most interesting way of marking a birthday, anniversary or other special event. Bring the party to the parade!
