East Atlanta Parents Network
|
The first official East Atlanta Parents Network (EAPN) event had the perfect weather - rain and cold. Nonetheless, over 80 families turned out for a fun playdate at Martha Brown United Methodist Church. EAPN thanks all the sponsors and contributors to the event. For prizes and gift certificates: Holy Taco, Bound To Be Read, Joe's Coffee, Urban Cannibals. A special thanks to the gracious hosts, Martha Brown. Many thanks to all the volunteers as well. The next play date is on Presidents' Day -- Monday, February 15. EAPN is an outgrowth of EACA's Education Committee (also known as Linking Education and Parents -- or LEAP). It's mission is: "Connecting Families. Creating Friendships. Growing Our Community." EACA is excited that efforts are being coordinated for families in our neighborhood.
Please check out the EAPN Facebook page for further updates.
