EACA - Braves Outing - Buy Tickets TODAY!
|
EACA is sponsoring a trip to see a Braves game at Turner Field! We'll see the Braves take on the San Diego Padres on Thursday, August 27th at 7:10 pm. This is Chipper Jones Signature Cap Giveaway night for the first 10,000 fans in attendance. As a group, we will get outfield seats - normally $22 - for $12 per ticket. If you need a parking pass, that will be an additional $10. If you want to attend this EACA outing, please respond and let me ( vicepresident@eaca.net) know how many tickets you will want AND please pay for the number of tickets you want either via Paypal (see below), online Bill Pay with your bank, or by check (made out to the East Atlanta Community Association). The deadline is TODAY - Monday, August 3rd by 5:00 pm. Tickets will be distributed at the next EACA meeting (08/11/09) or mailed directly to you, if you can't make it to the meeting. You don't need to be an EACA member to participate, but you do need to live in the neighborhood. If you don't contact us as well as pay for your tickets by Today at 5:00 pm, you won't be able to purchase tickets seated with us or at this discounted price later on. It'll be a great time to hangout with your neighbors and cheer on the Braves! See you at the game! East Atlanta Community Association PO Box 18366 Atlanta GA 30316

EABA Business Briefs |
Once again, the East Atlanta Business Association put on another wildly successful Taste of East Atlanta event last month! Thanks to all of the participating restaurants for cooking up the delicious grub. Gumbo, cupcakes, fish & chips, grilled corn and sliders....just a sample of what visitors and locals enjoyed. And special thanks to the East Atlanta Farmers Market, Origins Real Estate, Bound to be Read, Park Pet Supply and Champagne Taste for helping to sell tickets. Congratulations to The Glenwood for collecting the most tickets for a second year in a row!! First Friday in the East Atlanta Village for August is partnering with Paws Atlanta, a no-kill animal shelter in Decatur. They've been around since the 60's and have saved literally thousands of animals and completed many families. Lots of businesses are involved this month. Make sure to get out to your favorite shop and buy a donation card for at least a buck (think of the March of Dimes Shamrocks at the grocery store).
You should visit several places, pick up a few donation cards, and see what's happening in the Village. Make sure to look for the balloons in front of your favorite retailer or restaurant on Friday, August 7th. Here's the current list and we're working on adding more: - Trader's
- Park Pet Supply

- Holy Taco
- The Glenwood
- Feed Your Head Music
- Reactionary Records
