| EACA Elections Tonight!

For those interested in filling the leadership positions in EACA in 2009, elections will be held this evening. EACA bylaws require that we elect a new President and Vice-President for the coming year. If you'd like to learn the duties and time commitment for one of these positions, please contact the one of the nominating committee members, either Henry Bryant at 404-377-6148 or Dennis Madsen at 404-577-8656.
Being part of EACA's leadership has many benefits, but the most significant is shaping the organization's priorities and gaining access to those who have the ability to positively influence change in East Atlanta. You also meet a lot of great people, and gain valuable leadership experience. |

Meeting Preview

The monthly EACA meeting is tonight at 7:00 p.m at Branan Towers. The address is 1200 Glenwood Avenue, across from Village Hardware.
This evening's abbreviated meeting will focus mainly on the EACA elections, and we will be electing an EACA representative to the Porch Press Board. We also have one variance request to be presented, and one alcohol license to be presented.
After our brief meeting at around 7:30, we'll be sitting down for our Annual Potluck. Please bring an item to share! We encourage you to bring main dishes or side dishes such as salad or vegetables, as we usually have a sufficient number of desserts. Children are welcome to attend, so bring the whole family. EACA will be providing a ham, as well as utensils, cups and drinks. If you bring an item to share, please bring all dishes and serving spoons that are needed. And don't forget to bring a canned good or two for the Kingfisher Food Drive.
