If you've attended a NEFARPM meeting, you've probably met Steve Weatherington who is on the NEFARPM Board of Directors as Affiliate Co-Chair. He was also voted 2010 Affiliate of the Year. Helpful ways to make the most out of a NEFARPM meeting

-Practice your handshake with a friend so you are comfortable with your grip.
-When you are introduced to someone, repeat their name to increase your
chance of remembering. Then introduce that person to someone you know.
-When you receive a business card, take a moment immediately after the meeting or event to write on the back the date and place you met to help jog your memory when filing or searching through your stack of cards.
-Respect your fellow members, especially when they provide the same service. Do this and you will be better than the rest.
