Subscriber Profile
 Immigrant Entrepreneurs

Marie Gervais purchased an annual media release distribution subscription a few weeks ago. She wanted to send out a news release announcing a new immigrant entrepreneurship program sponsored by the Business Link. She sent me notes on the experiences she had undercovering popular newsletters she discovered circulating thoughout various ethnic communities in Edmonton. She tells fascinating stories about interviews she had with community leaders that will be developed into an article and posted to the mediamag blog sometime soon. In the meantime, here's what Marie had to say about the value of her subscription.

Private in Person & Online Workshop Features

Online Media Training

These innovative, flexible and private workshops offer a convenient  and cost effective combination of in-person and online training. Participants end up with a customized training package, a project plan, the learning resources you need to complete your project and seven hours of my undivided attention during hands-on training over the course of 30 days.

Once you confirm the start date of your workshop, you'll receive a questionnaire so we share an understanding about your project, timing and resources. After I review your responses to the questionnaire, we schedule our first meeting during which, over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, we discuss, refine and sketch out a plan to help you achieve your objective.

I return to my office to customize a project plan based on your objectives and compile training videos and other learning resources to review with you during our second session. Many clients report that the project plan and training resources are worth the cost of the workshop alone! At the end of our first 90 minute session, we schedule two more 90 minute sessions to take place over the next 30 days either online or in-person in my training room, whichever you prefer. In the meantime, you learn and practice on your own.

Some workshop alumni find it more productive to work together in my training room in St. Albert for the two 90 minute hands-on sessions without the distraction of work or family. Others prefer to work together online. The choice is yours! I'm at your service.
