"Opportunities are never lost; someone will take the one you miss."
~Author Unknown

What if I had gone there? What if I had done that? What if . . .??? Most of us have a library of missed moments and untapped opportunities buried in the back of our minds. These memories often resurface to cast shadows of confusion and doubt on our current path. But wherever there is darkness Jesus can provide light

Join us this Thursday and bring a friend as we begin a series on "Opportunity" with a word from the Lord about "Missed Moments."

Thursday, July 9th; 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Although the word "Episcopal" in African Methodist Episcopal refers to a hierarchy that is led by Bishops, the A.M.E. Church established the Connectional Lay Organization to insure that non-clergy could participate in the functioning and supervision of the Church. There is Lay leadership at every major organizational level of the denomination.

Ebenezer's own Dr. Cellestine Cheeks is a Candidate for President of the Connectional Lay Organization, which encompasses the A.M.E Church world-wide, at their upcoming Biennial Session (July 26th - 30th). To learn more  visit the Cheeks for President website. If you wish to offer time, talent, prayer, encouragement and/or financial support, please email the Cheeks for President Committee.
Paul Quinn College (owned by the African Methodist Episcopal Church) is appealing the recent loss of accreditation. Michael Sorrell, President of Paul Quinn, has made great progress rebuilding the school, but inherited a school in debt and on probation. Please pray that God grants Dr. Sorrell time to finish the good work that has begun. Click here to read more.
