This week at Thirsty Thursdays - Young Adult Bible Study

"[The person] who is devoid of the power to forgive, is devoid of the power to love." Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr
As
Christians, we can become so focused on "turning the other cheek" that
we suppress our true feelings in unhealthy ways. Suppressed anger can
create behavior that is harmful to relationships, academic success,
professional development, physical health, mental well-being, and
spiritual growth.
Don't be fooled by appearances. People that
are constantly cynical, sarcastic, bitter, envious, catty, gossipy,
self-righteous, critical, callous, or cold, are often just angry. Many
do not even remember why! Do you know that person?
Join us this
week and bring a friend. We will talk about releasing who are, and
reclaiming who God wants us to be, by confronting anger and learning to
forgive.
Rev. Jonathan V. Newton Minister to Young Adults Ebenezer A.M.E. Church
Thursday, February 26th; 7:00 p.m. Ebenezer's Original Sanctuary 7806 Allentown Road, Fort Washington, MD Please continue to pray miraculous healing for Pastor Grainger Browning's knee!
