There will be a planning meeting for the upcoming Watch Night After Party and Young Adult Season on Tuesday, December 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the Original Sanctuary. For more information contact Sis. Stacy Bradner.

Watch Night After Party: Bask in God's loving presence after the Watch Night Service with Ebenezer's S.A.L.T. There will be a Comedy Lounge on the third floor; music, karaoke and games on the second floor. If you're looking for a fun, safe, and warm place to begin a year of miracles, start the year with the Family Church Serving The Family of God!

The next Charity Crochet Corner will be held January 10th at 2pm in the Women's Resource and Restoration Center (WRRC). Please join us as we crochet baby booties and hats. All levels of crocheters and knitters are welcome. Please contact Sis. NiYa Costley for more information.

Any adventurous souls interested in a moderate five-mile hiking trip in Shenandoah National Park, VA? If so, please email Sis. Nicole Sergeant so we can get a head count. We are considering dates in early 2009, but don't worry the exercise will keep you warm.

Anyone interested in a scavenger hunt through downtown DC? All teams will be given approximately 3 hours, a map of the area, a bag of snacks, and clues for the game. The cost is $30 per team ($15 per person) and we need a minimum of 5 teams (10 people). Actual date will depend on the availability of participants. If you are interested contact Sis. Nicole Sergeant.

Are you engaged or considering marriage? If so, then come out for the Bone of My Bones Pre-Marital Seminar taught by Pastor Jo Ann Browning on January 6th at 7:00 p.m. The Winter 2009 Pre-Marital Institute begins on January 24th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Cost is $75. Help a young lady transition into womanhood! Womanhood Rites of Passage is accepting applications from young women ages 12 - 18 who are ready to seek and explore God's purpose for their lives. For more information, or to become a mentor, call (301) 265-8253 or email Womanhood Rites of Passage.

Manhood Rites of Passage is accepting applications from young men ages 12 to 16 for the 2009 season. Participants will receive mentorship and guidance to help them become the strong African-American Christian men that God has called them to be. To request an application, click here.
