Greetings!
"Spring - An experience in immortality."
-- Henry David Thoreau
Calling on the words of a fellow Concordian, H.D. Thoreau, spring does fill each of us with wonder about reawakenings, new beginnings. Fresh green sprouting forth from where there was frozen earth only days before...truly an experience in immortality. If we allow it, April may be one of easiest months of the year to be mindful...new opportunities arise each moment in nature. The difficult part is to slow down enough to notice. I wish you a month of reawkening to spring.
Take care, Pam

PBS Frontline: Sick Around America |
|
Health Care: how it is delivered, and how it is paid for is on many of our minds these days. Most of us would admit that our current system of health care insurance is severely flawed. But what do we do about it, who does this affect and how big a problem is it? The PBS Frontline documentary: Sick Around America does an excellent job exploring the tricky issue of health care insurance in the United States today. Let's educate ourselves about this crisis and work together to find a just and moral way of delivering "health" care to all of us. You can click here to watch Sick Around America online, and also join the interactive discussion. I would love to hear your thoughts on this issue. |
