March 2008
Greetings!

As we turn our clocks ahead...can spring be far behind?  A time to look, smell, and listen closely for the first signs of spring to begin to emerge.  Today, I noticed the first of the early bulbs courageously pushing forth through the remnants of snow. They are not unlike us: taking a risk, going forward, hopeful that by emerging from winter hideouts we will unfurl and nurture the possibility of new growth.

May your March be filled with hope and new possibilities,
Pam

Meditation Spaces on College Campuses

Creating Spaces for Reflection & Relaxation

All of us have been stunned by the upsurge in violence on college campuses. Through the tragedies, perhaps a dialogue will begin on how to address the stress many college students find themselves under.  A colleague recently sent me an article which appeared in an online publication, InsideHigherEd.com, regarding creation of meditation spaces on college campuses throughout the country...a great place to begin.
