Baby Steps
 
Greetings!
Happy 2008....A new year, a birth of a new beginning. As so many of us view the new year as a time for a complete personal overhaul with a list of resolutions a mile long; remember that most experts in behavioral and organizational change recommend throwing the "all or nothing" method of change out the window and instead focusing on "baby steps" that can be replicated and built upon to create new ways of being. Beginning to practice mindfulness or simply slowing down to the more natural pace of life may be a great way to start gently in this new year. Lower the bar on self-expectation of resolutions and you will be surprised at the significant changes that appear with  compassionately allowing yourself change through "baby steps"

at the Wright Tavern Center in Concord, MA. 
 
These are drop-in sessions for students who have some previous experience with meditation and want to deepen their informal and formal practices. Each month will include practice, and discussion of challenges and insights in our practices. 
 
Drop-in fee is $15 per class.  Note that there will be selected Mondays AND Thursdays offered during Winter 2008.

NEW Daytime Meditation Maintenance

You asked.....and I listened!
 
In response to a number of requests for a daytime version of the Meditation Maintenance sessions, we will begin a Friday program beginning on February 1, 12:30-2:30 PM at my Concord office located at 97 Lowell Rd.  The format of these sessions will be the same as the evening sessions, with the intent to deepen your meditation practice and discuss your insights and challenges in a friendly small group setting.  Because of limited space, preregistration is necessary.  Cost of the sessions will be $60 for the series of 4 sessions (prepaid) or $20 per drop-in, if space is available.

Registration for the Winter 2008 Session of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction will close on Tuesday, January 14. The Tuesday evening session has only 2 spots left. Classes begin January 22.
