Of interest to readers north of Boston, the Newburyport Insight Meditation Center is offering many workshops and short retreats this spring. I have included a link to their site for your convenience

April Drop-In Refresher |

"Meditation Maintenance"
Join other former MBSR students and those interested in the practice of meditation for an evening of renewal at our monthly Drop-In Meditation Class to be held on Wednesday, April 4 from 7-9 PM at Wright Tavern Center in Concord.
This month we will renew our focus on metta (lovingkindness) meditation and how it relates to forgiveness and compassion.
Monthly Drop-In sessions are held on the first Wednesday of the month at the Wright Tavern Center in Concord.
Upcoming sessions will be held on:
- Wednesday, May 3
- Wednesday, June 6
Pre-registration is not necessary, but appreciated.

- Final Exams
A two-hour WEEKEND workshop specifically designed for teens to increase their resiliency for the stresses of standardized tests and final exams.
Using research validated tools of relaxation, meditation, guided imagery, and gentle muscle relaxation, students will learn and practice strategies for more effective concentration and focus for school and beyond.
Class size is limited to 6 students. Preregistration is required by April 17.

North of Boston
I always love to hear about resources YOU have found to maintain and support your stress resiliency practice.
One of my former MBSR students highly recommends the Insight Meditation Center of Newburyport for maintaining his practice a bit closer to home.
For those of you north of Boston, you may want to take a look at their offerings. The resident teacher is Mathew Daniell, who also teaches mindful yoga and meditation at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center.
