Greetings!

A New Year....a New Opportunity! If you are like me, the beginning of the new year signals the need for a brand new calendar. The expansiveness and the openess of the clean, unmarked calendar seems to be so fleeting as the requisite appointments and schedules quickly fill the pages. Perhaps this is the year to stop and take a breath before mindlessly filling in the anticipated events. Are we able to observe the unfilled pages as opportunities for us to re-define, re-balance and re-center ourselves in the present moment? Can we challenge ourselves to enter on the calendar of our busy lives a time for practicing stress reduction? What would that activity or practice look like? Is there room on the calendar for YOU this year?

I encourage you to seek out ways to bring awareness into your days, weeks, months and years...remembering to start with the present moment.

May your 2006 be filled with mindful moments,

Peace,

Pam
