Greetings!
Happy Holidays. I wish each of you peace, joy, and
hope now and in the new year.
This is a time of year when many of us feel as if we
are burning the candle on both ends....so
many "shoulds" and "musts" on the endless To-Do
holiday list! Where does your own self-care and
renewal fall on the list? If you are like most of us,
pretty far down on the To-Do list....that is if it is on
the list at all.
This year why not start another holiday
tradition...one
of renewal in the midst of busyness. Try this simple
exercise to get you started: Take a look at your To-
Do list and cross off one item. In its place
add
one self-care activity. Be creative in your self-
care
choices...maybe a mindful walk in the snow, or a few
minutes of gentle restorative yoga,
perhaps simply sitting and breathing in the wonderful
aroma of a cup of peppermint tea.
May your holidays be filled with many mindful
moments,
Peace,
Pam

Resonant Leadership
|
Resonant Leadership, an interesting
new book, recently published by Harvard Business
School Press, might be the perfect gift for your
favorite
business person.
In Resonant Leadership, authors
Richard Boyatzis and Annie McKee argue that today's
leaders face unprecedented challenges that result in
a vicious cycle of stress and sacrifice, with little or
no recovery time built in. The authors illustrate how
three key elements: mindfulness, hope and
compassion are essential in enabling
renewal and resonance for successful leadership in
any organization. Using case studies and scientific
data, the authors create very compelling reasons
why mindfulness, hope and compassion make good
business sense.

NEW Office Space
|
I am happy to announce that Stress Resources
has
new office space in Concord! Several of you
have
requested a space that could easily accomodate
semi-private or small groups sessions, as well as
individual clients. As of this
month, I have a wonderful, comfortable space
available on Friday afternoons at 97
Lowell
Rd. in Concord. The office building is
located near
Brooks Pharmacy in Concord Center. I am still
available to make local home or office visits on other
days and the mailing address for Stress Resources
remains the same, P.O. Box 334, Concord, MA
01742
If you feel you could benefit from some individual
attention to get you started building your stress
management skills or if you want to re-establish a
meditation practice, I would be happy to work with
you. Give me a call at 978-369-5243 and we can
discuss your individual needs.
