The image files used in large-format printing need to be larger and of a higher resolution than what can be used in a brochure or slick.  Susan Carrigg can photograph your product for use on a banner, vehicle wrap, board-mounted graphic or other large-format product.  Promo runs through July 31st.

Our most interesting project of the summer thus far is the signs and banners we produced for Oregon Episcopal School's Summer Programs.  The signs turned out great and were delivered on time, so you'd never believe that they were produced amidst OES' intense preparation for its Upper School commencement ceremonies held June 10th. For the  first  time in its 141-year history, OES arranged for security forces to be present for an event on campus.   

The reason for all of the preparations and hype: keynote speaker Fred Armisen of Portlandia and SNL  fame.  The seniors asked for the honorary Portlander to "put a bird" on their commencement, and he graciously accepted their invitation. ("Put a Bird On It" is one of Armisen's most beloved Portlandia skits.) Check out Fred's hilarious and inspiring speech: Watch video 

It may rain 364 days a year in Oregon, but did you know our state is home to the main manufacturing plant of one of world's largest solar energy businesses?  (Okay, so maybe Solar World has to ship its world-famous solar panels outside of our well watered state to find rays...)    

In 2007, SolarWorld bought the Komatsu silicon wafer production facility in Hillsboro and turned the 480,000-square-foot facility into a world-class plant that converts raw silicon into photovoltaic wafers and cells.  The Hillsboro plant currently employs approximately 1,000 people--80% of SolarWorld's stateside work force.  

Our studio proudly produced several high-resolution 59" x 79.5" board-mounted graphics for SolarWorld. The series of graphics illustrate the stages of the solar panel manufacturing process and will be displayed at the SolarWorld headquarters in Hillsboro.
