Premier of TV Show on Sammy B

Please join Savannah Council Vice President Michael Jordan at Moon River Brewing Company (21 W. Bay St.) this Friday night, Nov. 3rd from 6:30-9pm for the premier of "No Higher Honor," the two-part TV series featuring our adopted surface vessel, USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG 58).  The first 25 people will receive a ticket for free drink, and Moon River will provide light hors d'oeuvres.  Michael spent two weeks aboard the frigate off the east coast of Africa this summer shooting the program.  Learn more at www.nohigherhonor.net.   "No Higher Honor," will air on WTGS/FOX 28 later this month.

 

Reception for Coast Guard Cutter Next Wednesday Evening
USCGC Staten IslandThe US Coast Guard Cutter Staten Island has completed maintenance work at Savannah Marine Repair and is preparing to leave Savannah.  Please join us for a reception honoring the cutter's crew at Kevin Barry's Irish Pub on River Street next Wednesday evening, Nov. 9th, from 5-6:30pm.
