Groundhog If Punxsutawney Phil is right, spring is just around the corner. Soon enough, GTFL players will take to the field to play their first game.  Although much planning and work have already been done, there is still more to do.

In this edition of The Huddle, you will read about the most recent GTFL developments.
As the GTFL gears up for its inaugural season, many ideas about how we see moving the program forward are being implemented.  At the same time, we would like to hear from you.  Please feel free to contact any of the GTFL Directors with your ideas.

Sincerely,

Nicole Rosen

Durham-York Football Officials Association by Bill Butcher

Durham -York Football Officials referee all the football games in York and Durham Regions, including all house league, OVFL, OFC, OMFL and high school league games.

In 2010, we used 109 officials, making us the second largest officials group in Ontario.  All of our officials have received training and are certified.  Annually, we take a refresher update concentrating on new rules and positioning.

We see ourselves as members of the football community and while doing house league games, try to help make sure that every player has a positive experience.
