This Week at Zion
During our Easter Service last week we heard that Mark's account of the days after the crucifixion was somewhat different than the account in the other three Gospel versions. We were called upon to believe without seeing the Risen Christ. This week, focusing on our reading from John, Jesus asks the question "Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe." This might be worth investigating a little further. That is what we will do this Sunday at Zion. This will be quite a service. Be with us and hang on for the ride! All are welcome at Zion.
Special Music this Sunday! We will be treated to special music by Marcella Hodge. She will be singing two favorites--Blessed Assurance & Amazing Grace. (I've heard her practice--you won't want to miss this!)

On-Air!
Did you catch Pastor Pete on Gail Hogan's Daytime Columbus television show this week? Pastor Pete and his good friend Shawn spoke about autism and the Ohio Autism Taskforce, which will reconvene this month and which will be chaired by Pastor Pete. As you probably know, during his time in the legislature, Pastor Pete was a national spokesperson on the issue of autism. If you missed it live, you can play it here: |
Note to share
Dear Friends at Zion UCC,
We are very sorry about what happened here in our town, but every day we see the wonderful hand of God at work in our healing. One of those ways is through lovely notes and pictures from friends like you--friends we have never met. You are our blessing.
Thank you!
Your friends at Pilgrim Christian Church
