Michael G. Belz Foundation Newsletter
May News
2011
Greetings!

Are you ready to  turn  "May Gray" for Brain Tumors? Even though every day provides an opportunity to spread awareness and H.O.P.E., May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Please consider wearing Gray in May.  Wearing a gray ribbon, Michael G. Belz Foundation merchandise, or a MGBF awareness band will spread awareness and H.O.P.E.!

MGBF will be running a Gray for May Facebook campaign.  Please consider joining us in our efforts and change your profile pic to gray during the month of May. (A gray ribbon, or maybe you can think of something else creative)?? Remember to spread the word to your FB friends and tell them why you are going Gray for May! Each day during the month of May a fact will be posted on our MGBF Facebook page. (If you are not already a fan, please check us out!). In addition we hope you will consider supporting the Michael G. Belz Foundation by attending some of our upcoming events .

As a board, and family, we have been working diligently to fulfill our mission of H.O.P.E. Our most recent accomplishment is the development of the Michael G. Belz Foundation's H.O.P.E. Grant. You can read more about this program within this newsletter or on our website.

Thank you for your continued encouragement and for supporting the Michael G. Belz Foundation's mission of H.O.P.E.!

Sincerely,

Mary Belz

Did you know the Michael G. Belz Foundation established a H.O.P.E. Grant? MGBF is helping brain tumor/brain cancer patients live and celebrate their lives just as Michael inspired those around him to do.  Patients are now able to apply to receive grants from the foundation to continue to live and celebrate life. So far, MGBF has helped two patients!
