Dear (Contact First Name),

Welcome to this week's newsletter!  On our journey towards personal and spiritual growth we encounter many crossroads which force us to make choices.  With every crossroad, we have the opportunity to choose the path that brings us closer to our heart's desire or the path that takes us farther.  Read more about this in Decide To Follow Your Heart.

Decide To Follow Your Heart
On your journey in life you will come to many crossroads in which you are forced to make a decision as to which path to follow.  You have a choice to take one path which follows your heart.  This option is "new and improved" but has a chance of loss.  The other path is a "status quo" option - no improvement but no apparent loss either.  Which path do you take?

Without choices we become powerless over the direction of our lives so we should be grateful for having been given a choice at all.  This gratitude may aid you in detaching yourself from the stress and drama of being in a position of having to choose.  From this perspective you can see your choices more clearly.

Let's first look at the "status quo" path.  How do you feel when you think about everything remaining the same?  It may feel safe and comfortable, but is it joyful?  How is your energy?  Is it dull or vibrant?  And what about your health?  With the "status quo" path you don't have to lose anything you currently have and that can feel comforting to you...for the time being.

Next look at the "new and improved" path.  How do you feel when you think about this?  Is it exciting but a little bit fearful?  Does your energy increase and do you feel vibrant?   Does your heart feel open? Once you make this choice, will all these feeling and sensations  support you? With the "new and improved" path, you may have to let some things go and make some changes which can feel daunting...but only for a short time.
When you choose to follow your heart  you become happy, healthy and everyone around you benefits.  If you deny your heart you can become dull, drained of energy and even become sick.  Yes, you will need courage to follow your heart - much more than you would need to keep your life the same.  But the rewards and joys that your courage will yield make it all so worthwhile.  Soon you will see that anything you lost, let go of, or changed as a result of choosing the "new and improved" path now has a chance to blossom on it's own.  It always works out perfectly in the end when you follow your heart.  So decide to follow it today!
