Self-Sabotage
It's important to have goals and desires.  They are what keep us moving forward.  Growth and self-discovery are part of the process of moving forward towards our goal.  This often occurs when it seems our progress is limited, obstructed, slowed down or even stopped.  We are then forced to look for answers to why that may be happening.  One answer could be patterns of self-sabotage.

Self-sabotage involves putting limits and obstacles in the way of our goal.  Our neurological patterns of self-sabotage can create physical manifestations which block our progress.  Little events and circumstances seem to demand our attention when we want to give attention to the goal instead.  And it seems when one is cleared, another one takes is place, slowing down our progress or stopping it all together.

Fear is behind this pattern.  There is something fearful about moving forward that is buried underneath all those little attention getting blocks we sabotage our progress with.  As long as our fear remains buried, we will keep this pattern and push attainment out even farther into the future. Sooner or later, frustration and resentment set in, weighing us down even more.

Clearly this can all be avoided simply by looking within at why we are fearful of attainment of our goal.  What are our attitudes, thoughts and beliefs about what would happen should we attain our heart's desire? How do we perceive ourselves once our goal is attained?  How do others perceive us once our goal is attained?  It's important to address these questions and more if we don't want to stop our progress.

It may seem like that is a lot of inner-work to do, but it's a lot easier than having to clear one block after another.  Looking at why you are sabotaging your goal attainment is crucial for your spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and financial growth.   Resolving self-sabotaging patterns will help you reach your goal much faster and will free you from limitations.  You have a wonderful divine plan in this process.  Keep moving forward to experience the fulfillment you deserve!
