Welcome to a New Year and New Beginning!  2011 will prove to be a year of miracles for so many around the world!  Pay attention to those miracles within your life and the lives of others and allow hope and inspiration to fill your heart.

In this week's newsletter I talk about Ego-Driven Fear and what those energies are teaching us, and how we can actually use them to support our remembrance of who we really are.

Many blessings to all of you and may you live in love and joy!
Ego-Driven Fear
Now that the new year has begun, we are all clearing our bodies, minds, and energy in order to reveal our authentic self - who we really are and what we are made up of.  Our sensitivity to harsh and negative energies are ever-increasing now.  While in the environment of those energies, it is important to make decisions and choices from our place of power.  In my personal experience, I find this challenging to do as I come up against is the energy of ego-driven fear.

Ego-driven fear usually compels an individual to manipulate a situation or person to get what they believe they must have in order to survive.  This manipulation can show up in varying degrees depending on how much the individual is driven by their fear, ranging from manipulation - to force - to brutality - to murder.  It's only natural for one's safety to be threatened in the face of ego-driven fear.  This feeling of threat is my biggest personal challenge.

It is important to remember that within all challenges, there lies an opportunity for us to learn who we really are.  Within my challenge of being confronted by a person who is driven by their ego-fear is an opportunity for me to be reminded of my powerful, authentic self.  My fear of having my safety compromised by others' ego-driven fear is simply an opportunity for me to remember my true power and my infinite potential.  Who I really am is so big that I cannot be reduced by anyone other than myself through my attitudes, thoughts, and beliefs.  The energy of ego-driven fear is actually a tool to bring me back to my true self.  When I come back to my true self by remembering who I really am, the energy of fear is transformed into the powerful energy of love.  In this awareness, all ego-driven fear serves to enhance my powerful energy of love.  I am no longer under the control of that ego-driven fear and am being true to myself.  I am then able to make decisions and take actions that benefit me and everyone involved.

Pay attention to your feelings of fear.  When fear is present, set the intention to come back to who you really are.  This will transform the ego - both your own and possibly others'.  Remember the ego believes in powerlessness.  Use this as a tool to help you remember who you really are - a powerful being with infinite potential - and watch the energy of fear transform into the powerful energy of love!
