Greetings!
Welcome to the first week of summer. Have you noticed how the seasons are passing so quickly? Wouldn't it be great if we passed through our trials and tribulations just as fast? It feels as if we have been stuck in the same situation far too long with no signs of relief. Fear not as God is busy planning our rescue as you'll see in the below articles. |
A City Not Forsaken
On June 1, 2012, Reuters News reported that 69,000 jobs were added in May 2012. Really? What the news failed to report are the numbers of people whose unemployment ran out, and who are still jobless. They are now counted as people having jobs because they are no longer collecting unemployment. Ridiculous, I know. So, where is God in all of this? |
Rescue Me
As I was praying, the Lord showed me a vision of how His people are feeling during this economic downturn. In the vision a woman was standing alone inside a jail cell. She was facing the hallway, her hands clenched tightly around the bars. She was pleading for someone with a key to come and let her out, but no one came to her rescue because she was looking for a natural solution to a supernatural situation.

Suffering for Righteousness' Sake
1 Peter 3:13-14 "And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled." Wow, that is easier said than done. It is hard not to feel the pressure as you endure suffering, so I wanted to give you something to cling to until God comes to rescue you. p.s.: He is on the way now.
