Apostrophe Books Pre-Teen Book Club
Hey Everybody,
 
Copies of MAGYK are in at Apostrophe Books!  Come down to the store to get your copy, and don't forget to bring your book club membership card to receive your 15% discount!  We have a few extra membership cards at the store if you need one.  
 
Also...the Bay Shore Library also has 2 available copies.
 
A few updates on what was decided at the first meeting:
 
  • We are still currently unnamed, and decided to table that discussion until the next meeting.
  • We're going to meet every other week, so our next meeting will be: Tuesday February 21st at 4pm. MARK YOUR CALENDARS! (Upstairs in the bookstore again, behind the invisible door)
  • We're going to read chapters 1-4 of Magyk by Angie Sage.
  • We're going to come to the next meeting pretending that we're one of the characters from the book.  Costumes and/or props are optional if you want to emphasize your character a little more.
  • We're going to have a snackluck (potluck, but with snacks) so everybody bring some snacks to share!
